What we are doing about Covid-19

AS A SPA CLIENT, WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Here are some guidelines we would appreciate you follow to help keep our clients and our workplace safe:

• Please confirm your appointment ahead of time
• Please reschedule your appointment and refrain from visiting the spa if you are feeling unwell, experiencing flu, cold or virus symptoms.
• Face masks must be worn in order to enter the Spa.
• Hands must be sanitized upon entering the Spa. Wearing of gloves are not allowed due to high risk of cross contamination.
• Please check with front desk to be advised when the aesthetician, manicurist or therapist is ready for you.
• Hands must be washed immediately prior to receiving Spa services
• As we now have limited seating in our waiting area, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment no more than ten minutes before. Also, if you are being picked up, please ensure that your driver is on time. We have scheduled appointments to ensure smooth flow,avoid overcrowding, and adhere to social distancing guidelines and the legal requirements of the number of people that are allowed to congregate.
• It is preferable that clients driving themselves call front desk to check in for their appointments before exiting their vehicle. We will advise when the chair/room has been sanitized and ready for your service.
• Please come alone for your appointments, as we will not have seating/waiting room in our lobby for non-service guests.
• Children (16 yrs and under) or friends are not allowed to accompany you in the waiting room or during your Spa services.
• Eating is not allowed in the waiting area.

AS A SPA CLIENT, WHAT YOU NEED FROM US

At The Beauty and Body Spa our top priorities have always included creating a safe environment for client relaxation, healing and rejuvenation, as well as the safety and well-being of our spa team. With the recent event related to Covid-19, our commitment to these priorities is stronger now than ever before. This is reflected in the changes to our workplace as well as the implementation of additional stringent sanitation and hygiene protocols. Some of these extra safety measures we are undertaking include:

• Fully sanitizing workstations and treatment spaces with disinfecting solution before and after each client.
• Sanitizing frequently used surfaces, such as countertops, door handles, tabletops, etc. throughout the day.
• Making hand sanitizers available throughout the Spa for clients and staff.
• Continuing to sanitize all tools used in services after each use.
• Seating clients in a way that creates more social distance in manicure rooms and pedicure areas
• Having our staff wear masks/ face shields when working with clients face-to-face.
• Reminding our staff not to come in if they feel any indication of sickness
• Ensuring that staff has been fully trained in new sanitation and hygiene standards and protocols.
• Continuing to provide clean sanitized linens, robes, etc. for each service
